My all time favorite Lithuanian artist Alvydas Venslauskas..

Artist rather prefers letting his art to speak for itself. The paintings usually reflect upon the world of mystery and hidden reality. He uses colors and shapes that create a magical effect and reminds of Venetian mask tradition, usually paying attention to spectacular details and merging the characters with their surroundings.

Simply my cup of tea..

During my job hunting experience, I’ve came across many great companies that I would love to be part of, but there is this one company that I truly fell in love with, B3 Designers. Architectural Interior Designers specialises in unique and contemporary designs for commercial industries. This is how they do it..!

Black Coffee 'Art Installation Film'

A few weeks ago I was working with African fashion designer on promotional video campaign for her fashion design brand. I was putting together set design concepts and while I was doing research, mainly on African design, art and culture, I came across this phenomenal video piece directed by Chloe Coetsee of Fringe for one of Africa’s leading Fashion Designers. This video piece accompanied the Black Coffee Fashion House installation which was first shown at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, and now at the Iziko National Gallery in Cape Town. The film explores a journey of mysticism and ritual as reflected within the Black Coffee collection, it requires dedication in viewing.

My latest passion for modern and rustic unity..

Recycling Unused Spaces: Rustic Modern Home Crusch Alba by Gus Wusterman

Just like some artists upcycle discarded materials, some architects recycle unused spaces. The key, of course, in remodeling a historic home, condo or apartment (in this case) rich in variegated materials and classic construction elements is knowing what to add, what to remove and what to leave as it is – particularly when faced with wide-open spaces that must be separated into livable rooms. The result of this careful, creative and one-of-a-kind interior remake by Gus Wusterman is a remarkably rich set vintage spaces with new partitions and modern necessities that do not detract from the variegated textures, materials and layered history of the existing interior – adding new without compromising old.

Old House Where Rustic Meet Modern Design by Designer Christian Speck of Formzone

This 15th century house was renovated by interior designer Christian Speck of Formzone with modern comfort and style. The house is situated in the mountain village which was founded in 1186 and hasn’t any inhabitants for last 100 years. It has two entrances and two staircases because at the beginning two separate buildings were here. During the renovation almost nothing was changed in its exterior but the interior was made comfortable to live. Many walls were covered with wood. The furniture and storage places have white lacquered surfaces what makes interior not only cozy but modern too. Windows in the house are relatively small but installed lighting system not only give enough light but give a possibility to change a mood. The roof has two outdoor spaces with amazing stone roof views and the mountain panorama. (Formzone)

Modern Victorian living..

When I was almost jobless and was extremely busy hunting for a right job in the design field, I was trying to keep my self-busy designing and experiment with different concepts using Photoshop and InDesign.

This Victorian building apartment has Lifestyle location with big living space area. Present modern victorian interior style living space with wooden floor paneling, really fine painted rustic feel walls and wood burning Victorian fireplace. Space complimented with contemporary furniture collection and complete with minimalist and quirky décor elements.

Blue waiting experience..

Blue waiting experience; a waiting room is a transitional space, a space between other more significant places. Where complete strangers are brought together in close proximity.
